I just received an email from Jagexsupport. It looks very suspicious and it is a mass email mailing to people who have Yahoo or Windows Live/Hotmail accounts. It comes from Jagexcustomersupport .at. lavabit.com I'm posting this as a warning because when I first joined RuneScape, Jagex said they will NEVER email or IM you; they use the message thing on the site.

The email says they suspect someone is trying to use my account from a foreign IP addesss. They want you to click a link to confirm your id, and they if you dont you'll be permanently banned.

DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK! DELETE THIS EMAIL AND REPORT IT

If you're getting emails like that on windows live you're giving out your email address wayyyy too much.

I would never read a Jagex e mail. They say that they will never contact you on your own e mail so that is the give off that you shouldn't answer it.

How does it make aubergine2c stupid? He/she is trying to help out the RSBANDB community by warning us about a email scam. Apparently you are stupid. And what was the point of posting your worthless spam if you had nothing to contribute? To make us laugh? Well, it worked.
