Mining Ores?

I'm looking to mine some gold ores to help me with crafting later/raise cash while increasing my rank (again =.="), but I'm bored of the gold mining spots now. Any new (highly unknown) spots anyone can suggest or any other ores with a good location you can suggest for money/exp?

(Don't say granite or I will be forced to slap you) :evil:

I wont say granite, but it is good.
Iron ore near varrok is not bad, also for crafting, gemsin shilo is not bad I dont think. IDK about mining exp, but for crafting?

The best place to mine gold is still the ten rock cluster in Brimhaven. Beats going to the Crafting Guild. I also like to mine the Mith and Addy rocks in the mine west of Lumby Swamp, using a glory amulet to bank quickly in Draynor and world jumping when I need to.

gems rocks are the same xp as mining gold. makes for a nice variation if u mine gold in the rock from "between a rock" as well as gems in shilo (or the lunar island mine for both gold & gems) if u want to go the crafting route with it.

The mining spot in the gnome stronghold under the tress mining spot to the right is all coal and gold, not far from the bank and is almost always empty.
