What is your favorite weapon that you have used in a video game? (these can be your fists or superpower-like things too, they count as weapons)
As much as I love my Acog-ged AK47 in COD4, and some of the plasmids in BioShock, my favorite weapon has to be the Lancer in Gears of War. The chainsaw battles in GOW2 are going to make it even better.

I, personally, love about every weapon I use. XD If it came down to it, I'd have to say either a Flaming Sword on Oblivion, or a Energy Sword on Halo 3.

So many different choices, I could go on about anything The weapons in Half Life were pretty unique ... Actually I liked a lot of Doom 3's weapons - specifically the BFG 9000, Chaingun & Plasma Gun. Oh and watch out for possible spoilers, this is all from the game.
BFG 9000 - Weakness is due to a boss that uses it against you.

Video showing these weapons (along with the rocket launcher) in a boss battle with the Guardian of Hell (with music from RE? not bad, actually kind of sheds light on the old Doom music). Looks pretty lame from the video to be honest ... maybe not the best quality, and it gets old after beating him about 20 times I guess. It was a lot scarier to me the first time I saw him at night not knowing what to expect. The thing that said "save us" is the soul cube .. also pretty cool, a trapped civilization that feeds off the life of demons, then can be released to slice something up and give you its health. (Also hope I'm not overusing the youtube feature, someone can change them to links if they must, sorry in advance.) [Post #500]

Gravity gun is pretty cool. Hammer of dawn again is awesome.
...But i think Boom Shot wins it, long distance boom kill and nothing can top the feeling you get, even a headshot with a sniper wont match it, makes you all fuzzy. ;D

Silenced AK > ACOG
And probably has to be the crazy briefcase on DMC4, because it's insanely good if you use it right.

Hm forgot about that, Neros sword is a qualifier i think, just cause it can set itself alight.

No attatchemnt AK > silenced & acog
for me I like the needler in halo 3. Whats more satisfying than putting hundreds of needles into your enemy, which will further explode while stuck in them

What's the point in not putting an attachment on it?
M40A3 + ACOG is just better anyway so makes little difference.

because it has been proven that with no attachment the Ak47 does more damage than with an attachment. Plus it's too beastly to be touched by an attachment.
