A world ruled by zombies!!!

I originally posted this in the sandbox ( RIP sandbox ) and decided to post the topic here. So, tell me what would you do in a world taken over by zombies. would you be the person who runs in with an lmg and blows them away or the person who finds safe places to assemble surviors and tactics? I wanna know!

If I was with friends/family I'd fight to stay alive. Plus, what would my dog do without me?

But if all of my friends already died/became zombies I would be the one that got so tired of being in constant fear that I'd probably just stop running and become a zombie myself.

I used to have dreams where people were constantly running after me to kill me and I always just got so tired of always being on edge so I would just give up. Then my dream would end.

I'd try and run, avoid it all. But deep down I'd know that it's probably a worldwide epidemic and there literally is nowhere to go.

I'd try get hold of a firearm to shoot myself, because being eaten alive would be unbearable.

...I'd probably die a horrible horrible death.

Although i like to think I'd rip my shirt off in a rage, to reveal bulging, sweaty muscles before leaping into a pack of zombies and ripping there head off with my bare hands all the while screaming "BY THE POWER OF GREY SKULL I HAVEE TEH POWWWERRR"

But i don't think that's very likely.

I think it would eventually come to that for all of us ... unless we fled the Earth. I'd try to find as many guns w/ ammo as I could, along with a sword - slicing through them like that would be fun. Then ... since I can't fly I'd have to try to find the least populated state/area possible, clear a place out (hunting store/military base if at all possible), and improvise. If I run out of gas though .. not sure I could fill up before getting overrun. Oh well, at least you don't have to pay the ridiculous prices

It's impossible to get every weapon you'd like to have .. I guess it depends where you hide. I know the cabelas a few miles from here has a ton of Winchester rifles/shotguns. Wish it had the 50 cal. I saw at another store. Perhaps they have bear traps or something like that too. The air force base near here would be a safe bet as well if I could find the armory. There's .. planes .. so I'm not sure how many guns they'd need. Hopefully they have an m249 lying around somewhere and a manual on how to use it Also want to keep a grenade or loaded pistol handy in case there's no hope. Hopefully if you try killing yourself it's instant and near painless though. Shooting yourself in the head and sitting there realizing you aren't dead yet, then getting eaten alive by zombies has to be one of the worst ways to go.

Too bad you can't stop it .. like create a vaccine or something. Or you could try eliminating all traces of it .. probably impossible but wouldn't that be the life. I keep thinking about the whole Doom 3 scenario - going to hell and stopping it from the source. However, Earth isn't Mars, and we don't know how it started.

But yeah .. I'd try to rack up the kill count before being obliterated with the rest of humanity. And if anyone's planning an emergency trip to alaska count me in

I'd make sure my family is safe and healthy (not bitten), before finding a place to hide. I think it'd be cool to be living in a mall like on the movie "Dawn of The Dead".
