The new rs is the way to go for me.
The old rs had, autoers and far more pures who were often rude and ignorant people.
The old wilderness made it harder for me to do clue scrolls.
I don't miss this one bit.

I miss giving my friends things that they needed but really it's not as bad as I would have thought before the updates.

The new runescape is far better for me.

I like the current Runescape. The GE is very helpful and not having to compete with 20 bots at woodcutting sure is nice. Trade limits are annoying, but I've gotten used to it (not to mention it's some motivation to make my own money). I also feel that RSHD might have been delayed if it was still the old RS, as Jagex might be busy with other updates stopping bots and macro-ers instead of working on RSHD. So yea, I prefer the new RS.

I liked the old RS better. The GE just makes players lazier, type in name, hit max and youve got your item. No interaction.

Definitely the old way. RuneScape has lost its freedom, jagex are trying to control our everymove. Ok they've got rid of the macroers but I dont really care, it was hard life but thats what made it fun, and the great feeling of accomplishment once youve overcome the annoyance of macroers and have come out top was great. The grand exchange and closeing of the wildy have removed the only elements of skill in the game, sure they make somethings easier, but no way near as interesting. Jagex should learn from three rings who made puzzle pirates, sure it sounds rather sad, but the skill element actually makes it quite fun. The new game is click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click. Boreing.

If only there could be a mix of both. Yes i admit i miss the bustle of world 2, seeing the scammers and the merchanters, but its kinda nice to be able to sell things instantly. Being a herbalist, there are just bout none of us left, so I feel kinda special. The bots did make things easier for fletching, cooking and such, so those capes are now actually legitimate skills again, you cant just ease your way into them. Then again i got my 99 fletching for free so it was nicer than forking out 10m into it. So both have advantages, but I prefer the old way slightly more.
