I remember getting killed by level 2 people... Wanting to know how to make gloves... Thinking 1k made me rich. lol

I remembered when I was "low level", I always carry the Newscomer Map that I bought from a general store. It helps me to get to main cities whenever I get lost. I could not make over 20k before getting scammed until I became a member at lvl 69 and a 75ish level came to me and walked me through White Wolf mountain to Catherby and offered me 20k. I got so excited that I bought a ddp for 40k :oops:

. After that, I always had atleast 100k in my bank no matter what. Now, I'd spend some time offering 1,000 coins to lvl 3's in Lumbridge.

Me and some friends all started at similar times and my friend told me about the Wilderness. So we went and reached around lvl 20 wilderness when I got killed by chaos dwarves and my mates were running away sending me messages full of 'lolololololololol' XD

I also remember falling for the trim your armour trick, and traded someone my full mith (which I worked forever to get) and then I quit RS for a day XD

I remember being slain by hobgoblins, on the peninsula near the crafting guild, back in the day when they looked exactly like regular goblins only bigger.

TBH, I'm proud to say I didn't stayed at the state of noob for too long. At level 25ish I had full black gold (back when they were 300k+)

Level 4 Newbs walked to me and said OMFG NICE ARMOR, IS IT A SPECIAL JAGEX MOD ARMOR ????????? I WANT IT LOLOL!

Mostly, My cousin helped me alot, When I was level 3, He gave me lot of stuff (Full iron,full steel,full mith,full addy,20k cash and some other junk) then I thought

-Omg I have enough stuff to reach level 126!

I remember on my first account, some guy lured me to the wild by giving me a staff. He said he had more stuff waiting for me there. Once we got to to the wild, he tried to kill me, but luckily I escaped. I was so happy. I had escaped with my life, and on top of that, I came out with this kick *** weapon. I used it for about a week after that before I found out that it was a piece of junk.

then a scammer said buying anything 1m, eventually he did the 10004gp scam and i fell for it,i overreacted and i was mad at the world

There wasn't even a tutorial when I started (1999,2000?). You just chose a certain 'job' like miner, fisher, etc. and got lvl 3 in that skill.

I picked to be a miner, so I mined copper/tin by Varrock, found a furnace by Lumbridge, and found anvils in Falador. So for like a month I mined by Varrock, smelted by Lumbridge, and smithed at Falador XD.

when i was lv 8 this person gave me 103k i was like !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but now a day 100k is like nothing ...

back in those days was fun. and enjoyable.

Back when i was a level 3 on tutorial island i was stuck for like 3 days trying to do the magic thing i kept using the runes on the chicken lol but i finaly got it right
then i was in the mainland i walked over the bridge and saw the cowfield i went in and i killed my first cow But i was lost and a mate of mine called iamtheundead if i got lost he took me back to wherever i wanted to go
He helped me get my skills up also and at lvl 93 he still does
Now im saying thanks to iamtheundead and two101 for helping me

Don't recall right up from the start. but..

I remember finding 2k in varrock and keeping that in my bank for ages scared to take it out in fear of losing it.

I remember saving a guy from the ice cavern right next to the incando dwarf, I had died prior in there. We became friends.

And with that same guy i remember talking about the t.v show "lost"(it was into the 10th episode i think) while burning the logs there were on the top of lumbridge castle.

i also remember fishing at draynor. And i had my 99 fishing party there to commemorate my start

I can remember when i very first started i got a genie and i lvl up. so from there on i though genie's gave levels as rewards not exp =P

I almost quit on my first day as i can remember going to port sarim and thinking whoa 30gp to go to karamja. im never gonna have that type of money.

When i saw a lvl 56 in al kharid who was actually talking and not a snob like the other ppl his lvl. (we were friend for ages!)

I did not realize you could rotate you camera until i had been playing for about 4 months :mrgreen:

When i was newish to members.
A person died on the white wolf mountain. I almost fainted when i realized what he had just dropped (and i picked up) was worth over 5m Gp.
