Are your parents still together?

I haven't really talked to my mom since I was about 10. She told me she hated me when I was about 6 or something I think. XD So I really don't mind not talking to her.

And my dad has had a few girlfriends, but he cheats on all of them eventually so they eventually break up and he finds a new one. That's rather annoying, so I try not to get close to any of his gfs anymore even though he tries to force them on me.

Hmm, I wish my sister was still around sometimes. She used to be okay, but again, back when I was around 10, and she was 14 she decided to get into drugs. So she ran away a lot. Sometimes it'd be for a few days, sometimes a few months. Eventually when she turned 16 I think that's when she got into crack cocaine, and she's been selling her body for money [prostitute] since then. She's 20 now. =P

I'm just glad I have my dog. He keeps me sane XD

Advice = 1: Get a job. 2: buy a house far away from your family. 3: Buy furniture and ***t 4: Live the rest of your life in that house with your dog, and you should be k.

Once I go off to college, I won't be coming back

It's really not that bad here though; I have my own room, a computer, and my dog. So I'll be fine till then.
My dad really likes being in complete control over people though, so when he doesn't have a gf, he's constantly trying to control my every move. Now THAT gets old really fast.

yes, but my sister and i dont have the same dad, her dad is a jerk that needs to be killed
and my dad (the one that raised me and her all of our lives) is awesome.
but my sister wants to be a ***** so she left and i havent seen her since x-mas or talked to her since march. she is one of the people that thinks everything gets handed to them and they dont have to work for it, she didnt get that here so she looked else where.
last i was told she doesnt have a job or car, and lives in a **** hole with her pussie little BF.

My mother never married my father D: And I've only seen him once in my life at around age 6 or so. Although he does send me gifts every year :3

No they split up in March, but the people my parents have met since then are really nice.

Sometimes I visit my dad, but I can't go and live with him. He is too far away from my school and I don't really want to leave a private school for a comprehensive one.

Mine are. I wouldn't say that they've always been happily married though. They're really polar opposites of each other. My dad's really easy-going and my mum is well..not.

My parents did stay together until my mother died and my father never remarried.

The other side of the story though?

I stayed with my first husband for near 20 years. I then left him to be with my present partner, we have been together 23 yrs and married 19. I had to leave my children at first, which was a terrible thing to have to do, as I did not have suitable accommodation immediately. It was for my sanity you could say, as it is always complicated.

After the initial period both my children came to stay with me regularly and my daughter chose to live with us when she went to tertiary college.

However I think it might have been due to this that she seems to have decided not to have chilren herself. My son-in-laws's parents are both divorced and remarried, long term with the 2nd partners. My Ex has not remarried.

This thread is **** depressing lol. My mom and dad never married, and broke up when I was young (although I'm not sure when). I live with my mom and my uncle who lives in the apartment above us (it's a two family house). Luckily, I still see my dad about once a month.

My parents are happily married like...34-36 years? I forget.

They were Highschool sweathearts, got married when my mom turned 18 (my dad was 19) and they've stayed with it ever since.
My dad is/was a rocker and used to party all through school, which my mom grew up at church, was a cheerleader, and prom queen. Total opposites. I guess the saying holds true, opposites really do attract lol
Sure, they argue here and there. But if you didn't then i don't think it would be a real marrige lol.

I see how lucky i am to have parents like them. My sisters don't, but they're 12 and still have time to mature lol.

The only sad thing is that they're both 50 and i'm 16 (the oldest). I just hope that they'll both be alive when i graduate College (going for masters) and get married, and i pray that they'll be around to see my children. My dad smokes, a lot, so I can just cross my fingers =\

My mom was 7 months pregnant with me when she got married, and im 19 now. So yea they been together since then 19 years, coming up 20 in December. But I wish they would get a divorce.

My mother and father never married, and to my knowledge, never lived together. And if they did, It would of been when I was really young. But no, they're no longer together. I don't even remember them being together, so they must of split apart when I was really young, but at least around when I was two, after my sister was born. I think I saw my dad more regular when I was younger, though, around 4 or 5, as he lived with my uncle who would look after us while my mother (and dad too I guess) was working. And then it would become every weekend when I was in school, then around grade 6 became every second weekend. Now theres no scheduled thing at all. I've only seen him like 5 times this year. XD More than last year though.

They get along fine when talking now though (and before), so it's not like they hated each other ever, I don't think.

I do have step-father. Also have a step-sister (23 years old or so) who he had with his previous wife.
I have another sister too (1 year, birthday was a few weeks ago), I don't know what it'd be called for me, as we share the same mother but not the same father.
