Do you believe in God?

Yeah, I believe in God. Interesting to see the poll results.. after being confirmed, believing in God is almost like a prerequisite to life for me. I fell into the catholic religion automatically, but I've come to believe in him on my own accord. My talents had to come from somewhere too, I suppose.

If I had to believe in something, I'd probably be a Buddhist though. Buddhism makes the most sense to me.

You can believe in it, Buddhism has no God. It's a way of life.

That's a good suggestion. I don't know where any Buddhist temples are around here though XD

I know for sure there is something greater than us like a super intelligence or a supernatural being but i dont know if its the god we all think it is

Yes, I do believe in god. With all the messed up things in this world, and due to the study of science, I conclude that something is there only if you know it is there. Therefore, I read the bible, and I know god is there. The answers lie in science, and the general thinking of a human being.

EDIT: @Ems: You must be an Agnostic.

I hit no, but in a way, I don't know either. I don't believe in the God of a religion, but I do believe in some sort of higher being that occasionally interferes depending on interest. Be it for what we see as good, evil, or neutrality.

Yeah. There was a long period of my life where I didn't, and no one made me "see the light". I realised that I chose not to believe because of my own rebelliousness. To me, God is a big part of my life and I don't talk about it a lot because people see it as "preaching", but having faith has made me a better and happier person. Some people can be happy without believing in God..so "to each his own" as they say.
