Who is your favourite athletes at this years olymipics mines are Micheal Phelps because he's awesome, Shawn Johnson because she is great and she's kinda hot and Usain Bolt because of his funny attitude

Yea he got a pretty sweet record but some people think that there is a conspiracy with the fly result and Omega.

Bolt's nonchalance as he takes time to glance around as he cruised to the record was awsome. Bradley Wiggin's has been dominant in the track cycling and a great role model for the British track team. Nicole Cooke's win in the women's road race was really gutsy. But Phelps is phenominal and such a level headed down to ground character.

Lol if anyone needs a drug test it's Phelps to be honest. 15 gold medals, all consecutive events, 8 of which in Beijing. I read in the paper today that he has a 12,000 calorie a day diet, and if he didn't swim, he'd be well over 30st (420lbs) now.

Hmm.. besides what he eats, I heard Phelps had a pretty normal life outside of the olympics

I was watching gymnastics for some reason, and it was pretty cool. Watching guys flip and spin through the air doesn't sound fun at first, but it's kinda addicting I guess. John Horton had some amazing routines on high bar and pommel horse.

EDIT: Amazing how young some of the gymnasts are though

Usain Bolt.

The world record and the fact he finished 2 metres~ ahead of the rest of the field which almost never happens in 100m races since it's over such a short distance. Added to that the show boating at the end. If he'd sprinted the whole distance he would have completely smashed the world record.

Phelps..just because I'm a swimmer and I stive to be even a fraction that good. He's my inspiration just to win 1 gold this year at Districts and thats in the 100 Freestyle. I have to swim a :50 or better. Just keeping my mind on swimming and nothing else...I have to

I read an interview with Michael Phelps, and I can honestly say, he was very arrogant.

But he's the only Olympian I know (or payed attention to)

kinda stinks for me cuz i'm rooting for the american team and my family is rooting for the chinese team and i'm completely outnumbered. yesterday gymnastics was rough china messed up very big on the dance stage and the one where you jump up.
