Well I know it's not a lag.. Alot of times i shoot people in the freakin face with snipe and it goes right through them.. watch on vid shows the same thing. And some times.. magicly me and my party get stuck on black screen and when it comes up we get assasinated.. and when me and my friend irl play these people always come and one second you see them across the map and then they are right behind you.. and i check NO ONE LAGS IN MY PARTY.. or they get booted

Problem with Halo is, it's the only game to allow you to actually freeze things and fly about examining every little detail.

Bungie explained this long ago, it happens in all games. You just don't realize it because you don't have this ability to rewind and freeze every frame. It's just how it goes, online gaming isn't flawless.

there is a lot of lag in the online play. you just gotta deal with it and use it to your advantage.

Well I cant explain when you and friends have the problem, but online like in the old days of halo 2 theres something called "bridging" or "standbying".

Now I dont know much about it but it can be used to force people to black screen while the host moves around freely, so he can run behind you guys. Then the person bridging can put it back to normal.

Now that may be way off but like i said I dont know much about it, I just know it causes problems.

Naa, as far as i know Bungie said they fixed that in H3, don't believe it's possible.

It has to be lag, either that or you do miss their head. Don't worry though, 'cause it does lag a lot in Halo 3. You just have to deal with it. You don't win every game.

No Alex might be right. And Bungie said they fixed alot of stuff.. and thats bs.. oh and some people also hacked into my IP and i couldnt do anyhting after the game was over my computer and halo was messed up had to get it fixed.. and they didnt even get "banned" reported like 500 times and they also sent me a message saying "Got Ya". bungie said they fixed that to.

The online play sucks in halo 3 it takes 2 grenades to kill someone and a sniper takes forever to kill people. They should make all the online game wihout overshields and that Cr#p. It would be cool if they made a halo game where yo play as a marine. it would be cool because it would actually be possible to die and you don't have some holographic N*ked chick in your head who tells you how to do everything. This is what im hoping for if bungie makes another xbox 360 game.

Actually I have a friend I know from school who does it with Halo3 so obviously it still works, just not as easy.

... #-o

One grenade is a kill, if it's Plasma and sticks. Aim better. ;]

2 shots with a sniper or 1 headshot, aim better again. Game with less shielding and stuff? Try the MLG playlist, i believe it's still up. Faster paced games. Cortana was never with you in H3, so uh..yeah.

And funnily enough rumor has it a gears of war style Halo game is in the works, telling the story of some marines. ;] Which would be **** godly if done right.

edit: And uh whoever said it - you never got hacked through halo lol nor have i ever experienced a blue screen so it's not really about, if it's possible it's extremely difficult.

It is difficult and i did. They got "banned" now and you can hack some ones ip through halo and mess up the game. and Black screen is very common in halo 3.

And ems he is right just aim better

You mean when a game starts and then there's that black screen? Lol, that's not someone hacking your account, that's the multiplayer system getting ready for you to play. xD
