Why are we talking about religions?
As for the main topic of the discussion: I eat meat. Why?
Well, first of all, it tastes delicious.
Secondly, it is healthy. (I'm not counting McDonald's.)
Thirdly, if were not to eat meat, what? Should we just wait for cows to overpopulate and take over the world? Most cows that get eaten by us have had a good life.
And besides, being a vegetarian is pretty unsatisfactory. The animals don't know anything about what they've done. Or more like, what they haven't done. Since when did vegetarians affect meat producing in any way at all?
So is this what it comes down into? No matter how much you boycott meat, animals die just as much.
@why we are talking about religions, Not eating meat is a belief, a belief is a religion in most cases
@It tasting delicious - Matter of opinion.
@Its healthy - Its not healthy drenched in grease, or all that disgusting things that make it fattening and sick.
@If we wouldn't eat meat - Well, of course like most non-edible animals (cats, dogs, ect) we would have to keep restrain on the population, spaying and neutering the animals would be sensible.
Animals may not know what they've done, but they do know pain, and they do have feelings. Have you ever seen, you take a kitten from the queen, if the queen does not know where her kitten is, and needs it, she will look around constantly confused, take a calf from the mother - the mother will know its gone, and will not understand why, which proves animals have feelings twords other things.
