Team Bandb

Righto throwing this down in here so i basically figured after Sunday we could perhaps create a team bandb.

The idea of a team of XBL users from Rsbandb playing on a regular basis, competing against other teams and the likes has been thrown around as an idea in the past by various people but it’s never really come to anything.

I’d actually like to spark that idea up again after last night’s rsbandb event, I was thinking it’d be nice if we could have them more often but the EC doesn’t have room in it’s schedule to host these things weekly, we have a system that works well in place and it’s no good tampering with that.

But if we could get together a team that’s separate we could hold them weekly, throw in some matches against other teams, play various games, if you need someone to play co-op with and stuff or someone you just want to play with in the week you can ask, I know I’d be up for it. It’s open to suggestions really. Basically It'd be run by me as a separate area of the forums, theres no requirements if you have XBL Gold and want some people to play with it'd be there and you'd only need to ask to get access, no special rank, no special privileges.

What do people think? Is it worth going through the effort of setting it up?

Id love to play with some Rsbandb members. Sunday and Thursday are my only days off but after 9pm EST im free everyday. My Xbox Live is Punisher1288 and im a gold member.

I like the idea, it'd be nice to have a semi permanent CoD4 team, rather than throwing them together at the last minute.

If we do CoD4 I vote we use the butterfly as out clan tag

Sounds like a great idea!

XBandB would be a cooler name for it, though.

In case you didn't know, the X or XB would be for Xbox

That wont be needed. It's just an idea right now, seeing if it has enough support.

I would, but I have strange shifts at work so I'll never know when I'll be able to play, I just play when I can.

There you go Creepy, create a clan. It would be your responsibility to set up matches and whatnot, but I think it's a good idea.

I would like to be a part of this, as of now the only multiplayer game I have is Gears of War but I'll hopefully be getting COD4 soon. Sounds like a fun idea.

Editz: I have COD4 now. All that's left is to get good enough so that I don't fail when I play you guys.

As I said on the blog I think it's a good idea. As for times we'll go for whenever is best for the majority of the people. I was talking to creepy before and we were saying that rather than being a sign up based on skill it should be more like a book club. Where you are free to attend as many or as few of the games as you want.

Just for anyone curious this would be managed by Creepy and Myself much like the EC. However we wouldn't have a forum rank for it (I know that'll disappoint some of you

Sounds like its going to happen. Will we be using clan tags for CoD4 though? If yes my vote is still for the butterfly.

Obviously not skill based, since it would exclude most of the players, such as Steven and Dokter Bob (rofl kidding, please don't hurt me). I was thinking the same thing, it would be a team where you had to attend all the events, but show up whenever you feel like it. With gamebattles.com, we could easily find a match within 5 minutes if enough people are on, and if only a couple are online, we could play Zombies or Michael Myers (which was really fun today).
