Intel. Why do you guys all like AMD?

They were leap-frogged by Intel two years ago. The way I understand it the strength of the core architecture is that it was originally much more like a P3 than a P4 (less heat and similar architecture), it also took lessons from the Pentium M (low power and less heat).
The current intel cpus are better all around than the AMD ones. The AMD X2's are under powered comapred to the core 2 cpu's from intel. The Phenom chips aren't even that amazing compared to a standard X2 from AMD. The only time I would use AMD is if I was building a dirt cheap computer just for browsing the web, word processing, and email.
