2008.

Wow, what a year.

Just after Stan Winston died, George Carlin followed, and Death made a **** move by claiming Michael Turner right after them. Within two weeks.

Well I can understand that life goes on, and that Death is quite busy this year what with genocides & massacres in many Third World nations, but having him taking away some of the best talents out in a few days in a row?

After all the jarringly short space of days between Heath Ledger, Arthur C Clarke, Charlton Heston, Gary Gygax, Albert Hofmann (who invented LSD), etc. why can't he just leave us some room to breathe & overcome our traumas, before he can take away a few more awesome guys?

Stan Winston & George Carlin, two guys passed away within a few days, how much more can we take?

At least, we have Diablo 3. Many awesome men have been sacrificed this year so that we can have Diablo 3.

Great, huh?

As Shane would say- The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I finally understand your post. =p
No, I agree. The big one for me is Heath Ledger. He shouldn't have died.
But then again, I believe God has a plan, and everything abides by it.
So. . . they all died for good reasons unknown to us, or myself anyways.
