This looks promising. I'm excited.

P.s. Oh yeah, you might want to skip past the beginning credits, they take forever. Remember to let it load before you try to skip them though. =D

The opening credits are ugly and clumsy and the actual video is atleast a year old and fan-made.

I don't have any motive to prove you. I know it's a fake, I've seen the video months ago and the horrible quality of the credits really looks faked. And besides, why would first 8 minutes show a scene of what appeared to be from the beginning of Halo 3?

1) Opening credits for movies are not made in Windows Movie Maker.

"Halo: Last One Standing is a short video created in collaboration with Bungie Studios, Neill Blomkamp, WETA Digital and Origami Digital LLC.
It is part 3 of the live-action Halo videos that include Halo: Arms Race and Halo: Combat."

Do you still think that that video is from the real Halo movie?

Pretty cool short in my opinion .. doesn't make sense as to why they wouldn't start with the first game though

Guess they're just trying to show a version of live combat.

You kinda proved yourself wrong right there. These videos were actually test videos to see if the Halo movie was possible. WETA Digital and Peter Jackson were on board for the movie, but money issues became a problem. So although this isn't the real movie, it definately isn't fan made (the credits are).

2: part after opening credits, its "Landfall" (downloadable at Xbox live), and it has nothing to do with halo movie.

There are also a variety of Halo props built by Weta Workshop. Although they were made for the Halo: Landfall short films, and not for the actual film, they give a good indication of the quality the eventual film may have been or may yet have.

I think this looks promising.

I like:

that they chose to rate it "R," those movies have so much more freedom

that they do incorporate many weapons from the games.

I don't like:

the new variations on the theme; they should make it should more sinister than triumphant, maybe add some sick Cello

I hope:

that they incorporate a decent storyline.
