I find it hard to get excited over these discovery's, more disappointed that i wont ever live to see us visit them or investigate into them properly.

Feel the same here. I expected the 21st century to be the age of space exploration. Seems unlikely - very - now.

I think it's a waste of time "discovering" far away planets which look like earth when we've failed to land a spacecraft on pluto. We should try to understand everything about this solar system before moving onto others. :/
