0.1-second whitescreens on RS :\

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3
Ammount of Ram: 1024MB RAM PC3200
CPU Speed and Type: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.21Ghz (Single Core)
Graphics Card: BFG Nvidia Geforce 8800GT 512MB

When I play RS, there are some flashes that happen. You know, like when you get a white screen, but it only happens for like a fraction of second... It kind of happens often so it gets annoying...It's like, you're playing and all of a sudden you get a white screen for just 0.01s and it annoys your eyes.

I didn't see a pattern (I didn't see if it were doing it randomly or at precise interval nor if it were only at precise spots in RuneScape) but I think it could be strongly related to my graphics card, although I'm not sure.

Can someone help me out? I cleared RS's and Java Cache, and nothing happened. :\
I also reinstalled Java and nothing happened.
I've tried a few Java games such as FunOrb games and they do not seem to have this problem.

I believe it might be due to RuneScape page refreshing and my graphics card is faster than my CPU so it does flashes? Does it make sense :\ I'm not very good with computers...

Sorry if I couldn't explain the problem clearly, if you need me to go more in details I will try to.

maybe it has to do something with the internet maybe like you lag or something like that

it's not like the normal white screens.
I'll edit this post later showing you how the flashes look, you'll see how annoying they are.

Java is mainly run off of CPU right?
Maybe your processor is going bad?

try this and see if your CPU is going bad.

Have you tried different browsers? My screen use to flash and my video card was getting hot.

If that is the problem, Tidus you should try using integrated video,and if you know that your Graphics card is overheating you can get a PCI-x card that is a fan

I've tried it on Internet Explorer 7 and Opera, and it still does it.

Please remember that it only does it on RuneScape and not while I use my comp normally or play other video games.

Even other games like FunOrb play correctly I think... That's really weird.
