Someone new has moved to Pollnivneach and, by some twist of fate, they are not called Ali! This strange new neighbour is called Sumona, and she has lost something very valuable in the depths of the Pollnivneach well. Mighty rewards are on offer for anyone willing to return what she has misplaced.

Meanwhile, eery wails and vile stenches seem to be pervading the streets. This may be unlucky for the Pollnivneach tourist trade, but at least there is something in it for adventurous types. In fact, they may be turned to one's advantage when dealing with the mixed bag of unpleasantness beneath Pollnivneach...

With potentially epic, if unspecified, Slayer rewards on offer, this is a venture best-suited to those who risk their lives for curiosity. Let's hope that curiosity is better for them than it is for cats.

In other news...

We have introduced two new worlds for those who prefer to chat, or be chatted to, with Quick Chat. The worlds are 160 and 161. Conventional chat may not be used on these worlds - they are for Quick Chat users only.

Quick Chat users can now chat to their friends on FunOrb, and vice versa. Simply select a friend from your Friends List and then choose what you want to say from the 'General' and/or 'Inter-game' menus within Quick Chat.

We have made efforts to stop the strange 'dancing' effect that occurs when fighting monsters on the same square as you. You should find that, instead of moving from side to side, you find a more suitable position to attack the monster from.

Dragon square shields have been updated, thanks to observant players who noted that its two halves wouldn't make a square!

Not to spoil it for anyone but the new slayer gear looks useful. Off to make a slayer ring.

Take with you your cat and amulet of catspeak and ghostspeak amulet. It'll save a few trips to the bank. Oh, and also a pickaxe.

quick chat worlds wtf... and they say they wont take of normal chat... someone that sugest it form us was dam right! anyways slayer quests always awesome i guess it should be something not to easy and rewards of course will be usefull for anyone that likes slayer.

I think I overestimated how hard this was going to be .. the requirements aren't that high. Looks good for anyone interested in slayer .. isn't for me though. Decent considering we aren't getting much this month.

i was waiting for them to make us stop danceing...that was really annoying. i wonder how good the new slayer master will be

would you all stop complaining about that we getting less this month if they didin't posted it you wouldnt even notice it...

anyways remmeber times then there was way way less updates a month and consider fact we get like 6 updates or more a month now.

Hey lets not you know, make more lootshare worlds you know, something to help out the well behaved players, lets reward the morons. Good thinking Jagex.

Stupid. Slayer looks to be in a bit of a mess right now as well, apparently people are getting lots of dragons. Some dude got 50+ black dragons rotfl

Well said xD think I'll have to rate this 2/5, since I didn't realize how stupid (for lack of a better word) the worlds were until now.

I like the updated Slayer monsters, as well as the fact they FINALLY fixed 'dancing'. Haven't logged in since the update, but from what I can tell, it should be worth it!

New Slayer Master is a bit pointless, unless there's a new teleport. Still, it's better than having only one choice I guess.

new quest was decent. new master is just under duradel. judging by the list of what tasks they'll assign now in the manual duradel will be assigning less garbage tasks and is worth more points, per task, towards the other rewards.

slayer monsters got a lil gfx overhaul looking good.

quick chat worlds? why seperate worlds for it? why call it quick when it isn't? cant think of anything more stupid than this idea of theirs atm.

the 4 side chambers of the new smoky dungeon (it is connected to the smoky well from desert treasure as well) bosses were a decent challenge to give us tho coulda been tougher than just figuring out the right prayer block to use.
