iTouch

I'm not exactly sure but can you download apps for the iTouch. I looked around and all I saw was apps for iPhone. I heard there are apps for the iTouch. Are there any? Post link if there is.

Uh, there is an app store coming out in june that ipod touch users have to pay a small fee to download the software update. Then you can download apps that are free or cost a little. Most of them will be free. If you want apps now your going to have to jailbreak it. There are also internet kinda of apps.

I wouldn't attempt jailbreak ask you may brick your ipod, rendering it useless.

Yes you can use apps on an Itouch. Most apps are web-based though.. So you would have to be in a WiFi hotspot ;-)

yes you can get apps for the Itouch but you need to hack it this is very easy. but if you don't want to do that then just wait till june and you will be able to get then from apple. you can bookmark web pages and put them on the front page of your Itouch and they look very much like apps but they are just web apps for Itouch/Iphone

I agree. Unless you know the full consequences of jailbreaking, don't do it.

jail breaking is fine its unlocking that apple will brick your Iphone they have never bricked any Ipod touch's (that I know of) its only the Iphones that people had unlocked and used on T mobile in the us. or any other cell phone company in other countries

Either way, I'd be wary of downloading updates for the iPod Touch via iTunes if I jailbroke mine.
