Runescape - A friend told me about it, but it didn't really take my interest. Then at school in like year 4.. 7 years ago now, another friend said something along the lines of "hey you played runescape" and it went from there.

RSBandB - Can't remember to be perfectly honest, either heard it from a friend or just found it on a fansite search.

Really, this makes you notice that Jagex sucks at advertising. Almost all of these people found out from a friend.

I found Runescape through a real life friend. It was about three and a half years ago. And I found RSBandB through Rune HQ calculators. Might have been quest guides. One of the two.
