That's just sick. I mean, plain, **** sick. And only his maximum sentence is only 15 years? I don't care if he is 73, he should get life without parole for that kind of ****. Seriously, I wouldn't mind holding a pistol to his head.

That's the kind of stuff that makes everyone cringe. I couldn't imagine being in that situation, as one of the children, or as the parents. Seriously, what the hell flipped him over the edge to have him do that? Can't believe it went on for such a long time before someone finally figured out what happened.

Thats the problem, in the UK life is like 18 years. They seriously need to string the sentences out, especially for people like this sicko.

That's not strictly true, it's deceptive when you hear someone gets a life sentence though. Since the sentence is usually something 'Life, to serve a minimum of X years'. X usually being anywhere from 15-30 depending on the crime, chances are though with good behaviour they may even be out in half of that. It's stupid, when they sentence someone to life it should mean life.

And what the hell is up with that guys wife. Claims she didn't know anything. I find that a little hard to believe.

Seems like the whole Fred/Rose West thing to me. She always claimed she had no idea he was killing girls in the basement. I don't see how that sort of thing can go on in your own house and you have no idea about it.

You think thats bad? In the paper a couple of days ago, there was a story about a woman who was raped by her own father while held captive in his cellar. She also had 6 kids, 3 of which were raised by here parents, the other 3 in the cellar with her. :shock:
