Hello people :)

I am a level 57 thief and I need to know the best way for me to train thieving. Should I do Pyramid Plunder now, even if I cant get to the last room?

Thanks in advance,
Aubergine2c

Yes. No matter what room you can get to, do pyramid plunder. It's faster by far than other methods at any level.

If you are doing PP, then make sure you have done Contact! You can make a lot of money off the trinkets, and there is a bank right there for them. Then do Dealing With Scabbaras, and you can sell them in noted form.

Pyramid Plunder tends to be the best training for Thieving by far, especially so the higher level you are. Just bring a few salmon with you the first few times to determine what you'll need on future runs food wise. In any case, it shouldn't be too bad, and you'll make a bit of money off of it too!

Good luck!

Well to be honest, i'd use Master Farmers until level 60, then do Contact!, and then go on my way to PP. Bring anti's and salmon/pike.

I recommend you do pyramid plunder. It's very fast exp and if you sell the artifacts you get from it or even get lucky and get a pharoah's sceptre it can make it a very profitable way to train.

Yes, PP is the way to train. Don't bring Anti's or Salmon though, that won't last you. Preferably, complete the Contact! quest so you have quick access to a bank. Bring a full inventory of Lobsters or Monkfish, and everytime you finish a run, drop all but your Gold artifacts, don't bother banking until you are out of Lobsters, because EXP is worth more than GP.

PP is best training from level 31.

Bring a spirit terrorbird if you have 52 summoning. it will help a lot (both for run and carrying food)

I know an awesome way to get thieving xp that not a lot of people know about. Pickpocket desert bandits from 55-65, then do menaphite thugs all the way to 99! I get 200k xp an hr from this. If you wanna know more, just pm me. Don't feel like typing it all here lol.

I have been doing sorcerer's garden. If you get the pattern down, you can really burn through the levels.

At 91+, Pyramid Plunder can get 250k+ EXP per hour.

It's a matter of personal opinion.

I do not consider it boring as you only have five minutes per round. If you loot half of the urns in the previous room before your maximum room (which you loot every urn), you are going to be racing the five minute time limit. There is always the desire to loot all the urns within the time for the maximum XP, so you always try to go as fast as possible. However, I will get bored if someone is trying to talk to me because I get discouraged from continuing if I only make it to the 5th room before the time expires.
