Do you wear glasses?

Weird I know but not as weird as underwear and shower questions.

Yes I do wear glasses, Right eye -2.00 Left Eye -1.50, many people usually ask me why I don't wear contacts the reply is simple the sting and i hate them, however I do have them. I wear Oakley Split Thread http://oakley.com/pd/1149 Polished Black, they are pretty good but expensive as heck.

Nope, I've had to have surgery before on them but I've never needed glasses, i go for a check up every few months as well though, could need them in the future.

I dont wear classes but when i get older ill most likley have to wear them to read and stuff.

I wear them whenever my contacts are bugging me. But besides that, no.

Not yet. Parents both wear them, Mom all the time, and Dad just for reading. Pretty much guarantees me needing them sooner or later.

not yet for me but my dad is i think legally blind in his...right eye, and his left eye is also screwed up, and my mom needs contacts/glasses, bifocal or trifocal versions

So i pretty much am guaranteed that i need glasses #-o

I have horrible eyesight so I've needed glasses since third grade. I got contacts last year though so now I only wear my glasses at night.

I have glasses but never wore them. Instead I wear contacts, pain in the *** at first but then later on its easy as 1-2-3.
Also no worries of losing glasses since I have contacts

But I don't wear glasses yet.

My dad wears glasses and my mum has recently been recommended to wear glasses for some activities... doesn't look too hopeful for me.

Yes, but only when I have to, and about half hour evening and mornings. All the rest of the time I wear gas permeable contacts. I have been using contacts for over 30 years now.

I am shortsighted with a prescription about -11 diopters (give or take a fraction) so glasses are heavy and can give me a headache.

I am not suitable for lasik type eye surgery as that is only effective up to about -6 diopters.

Both my children wear contacts with glasses as a backup; I am short-sighted, their father was long-sighted. They are both shortsighted, but not as severely as myself.
