Removal of BH?

^ This was announced in the "state of play" ^

Right now, the ONLY way to transfer items from one account to another is BH.
So, the ONLY way to completly stop RWT is to remove BH - the ONLY dangerous minigame, in which you receive your opponents items.

Recently, the number of BH words was reduced to only 3(way too little

), and the new pvp minigame is going to come out soon, and since it is "safe", you cannot transfer items between accounts.

So, do you think BH will be removed and replaced with this new pvp minigame?
Jagex had the guts to remove wildy pvp, they might have the guts to remove dangerous pvp commpletly...

To me, a dedicated PKer, this would be the final push out of RS...

No, cause even with the RWT in BH not many people do it because of rogues so I don't think BH is going to go anywhere anytime soon.

It won't be removed. What is left of the pkers still use bounty hunter (Just look at bounty hunter rankings, pk names are amoung the top). Jagex will not remove dangerous minigames from the game, no matter how much runescape is now like a rubber room.

Nah, i dont think it will be like over run by it, i think it will lower the numbers un BH quite well though (good for ma pure) part from that, i dont think it will do really well, as we have clan wars, and castle wars, and not forgetting dule n fight pits as well, thats, 1 vs 1, FFA, and team games

but i still hope its really good.

Just like Shwa said, look at the BH highscores and you will see it's all PKer names. I don't think it will be removed, due to the fact that Jagex wants to keep some dangerous PvP Minigame in Runescape. They may later on put another dangerous PvP minigame into runescape though.

If Jagex did remove BH they know they'd lose quite a few people. Compared to the "old BH" transfering items isn't nearly as easy as it used to be. Before, you could hop into empty worlds with just a few of your friends, easy transfers. Now that you are forced to use the 4 or whatever worlds there are, you're not guaranteed an easy transfer. Sure you can still transfer items/cash, but if you think it's reliable be prepared to get a cold slap in the face.

Jagex would never remove a large aspect of the game that wasn't causing any problems, RWT isn't a concern right now, gold sellers and gold buyers don't really want to risk getting killed in bh.

The more things change the more they stay the same. The Bounty Hunter minigame must of taken a ton of coding and time to create so I would doubt that they would take it away after all their effort. The Duel Tournament didn't take out Duel Arena, did it?

I voted yes because of the word "replace". I don't think that BH will be removed but the majority of the people will leave BH and start playing this new PvP game.

No way they will because 1/3 of the people that play(ed) runescape quit after pking so if they take out the only thing even a little like pking no1 will play..

It won't replace BH, it will only be an additional pvp game.

It might "replace" it if players only do it instead of BH though, but that's not the same thing.

Didnt jagex say they were going to add another p.v.p. They didnt say anything about changing the existing ones.

I don't think BH will be removed in the meantime as I'm under the impression that they're just making lots of pvp minigames accumulatively.

They did not mention anything about removing the wild or limiting staking too...

Anyway they didnt remove BH, so for now I'm good
