when you first joined runescape

When you first joined runescape what did you think? I thought how will I ever know anything about this game and i saw a world of adventure waiting now it's kinda same old same old

When I joined it I didn't think I was going to stick with it for more than a month and its been a few years now (granted I quit for a year).

When I first joined I remember always opening the world map to know where I was going. A big landmark for me what the crossroads of draynor, the mansion, and the the highwayman.

I used to see people with GOOD STUFF on, and I thought I would never have it. I begged for stuff

Then, I figured out ways to make decent money!

hmm... Well, when i first started, i made an account (forgotton name) and did toutorial island fine, then i got onto the main land and booom! i was completly lost, so yeah.. i kinda gave up lol...

untill sum mates of mine started playing, then it became easyer to descover new things.. (thats when i made platts340)

It was sometime before herblore came out. The best place in the game was the members dungeon (taverly). The worst thing in the game was making certs. Oh yeah, and the clothese/armour/weapons you wore stayed in your inventory all the time.

i started playing 3 years ago so at rs2 at first i was complete lost since well i was bad at english couldn't ask for directions

anyways i used world map until i got used to it and i could walk around whit no help, anyways ppl were diferent then nobody was hyper rich so all were almost equal but things change ppl change to seems like wealth is all about now in rs...

I played for a bit in RSC back in late '01- early '02, Quit for 2 years, made a waste account in 2004 with the "new" Runescape, lost the password for that, and on June 5th(hmmm, anyone remember the next day?) 2006, i made Magicking, currently my only account. Each time I restarted, I couldn't remember the controls XD

I always read the manual so I wasn't too confused with it all. I used to stay around Falador, Draynor and Lumby for ages, didn't go to Varrock for weeks and Al Kharid months because I didn't wanna pay to get in lol.

I remember when I joined back in rsc. My friends and I still joke about how it looked like we were all wearing spandex. I was never lost and everyone was very helpful. I also remember trading a red and white bead for a mith longsword. Good times.....

The first time I got on RS I got lost.

I wandered to Draynor to Varrock.

Then I had to use the map to find my way back to Lumby.

I got lost too. Further north of Lumbridge though. I got to greater demons and they killed me.

I had no idea of the game. I died and didn't know I was losing stuff.

I sort of stumbled onto the rs site made a new account did tutorial island no prob got outside lumby spent 10 mins trying to figure what the hell was going on, thought this is .... erm not very good and quit.

But i tried again a few months later and i have never stopped since then.

I thought it was the stupidest game in the world, then i started to love it.
Now i think it is stupid, but I ant stop playing =-(

I joined because two friends told me to.

It wasn't something that I thought I'd enjoy by myself. The fact that I was a character talking to my friends through their characters was cool.

Now I just see it as a good way to waste time if you have plenty of it.
