US Marine...throws..puppy off a cliff?

Wow, this is really a sensitive subject for you.

No matter what arguments you make, there is one point you seem to miss: this was a cruel act.

- Yes we know there are greater tragedies happening every day. That wasn't the point of this post. We can't cover everything but some things (like this one) stand out as examples.
- No, it isn't legal to kill a puppy in Iraq if you are in the US Military. The soldiers don't live under Iraqi law. Killing puppies is illegal.
- Killing for amusement is wrong. It is an immoral act and a sign of weak character. People like this have issues.
- We breed animals for food so we don't have to hunt them. More efficient. Don't like it? Don't eat it. This is not the same as throwing a puppy off a cliff.
- I eat meat because it tastes good. Not because I find it amusing to eat an animal. We are carnivorous.

Your whole argument seems to be that you support the right of the Marine to throw a puppy off a cliff for his amusement. You admit that you hate puppies and don't care that it was done. We get it. Just because you don't care doesn't mean that we don't.

I agree with creepy, they should do their job, instead of screwing around with dogs, but that just proves american overall IQ.
I don't really care, too bad for the dog, if you hear five civilians we're killed on the news, it's not thàt important, Right?...

All in all, what happened occured on a wartorn country. Anyone can get away with war crimes in such countries. You ought to know that, right?

I think everyone in this topic knows that. The whole point of the topic was to discuss if they should be allowed to get away with it.

In this day and age, should they be getting away with things like this?
