So my mom thought it would be cool yesterday to go to a Russian Ballet, and see all the dances and the music and etc. We got awesome seats, first tier section A (nobody in front; it was all good). There were six of us... My parents, my brother(16), and my two younger sisters (15&16). Behind us was this family of 10 people, and they were all obnoxious little nosies.

Anyway, my mother wore a scarf that day, clearly because she was sick, and she didn't take it off during the show. My brother spiked up his hair just a teeny bit, and the family behind us got really mad because they couldn't see.... so they started insulting us.

They called my brother a failed skater attempt , and my mom a **** because she was 'probably hiding hickies' with the scarf (although she wasn't.) And when my sisters turned around to see who the guy was, he called them barbies and told them to turn around. Luckily he didn't say anything to me, until I got really mad and told him to go sit somewhere else and shut up, (then I swear i heard him call me something )
Really, they ruined our night and probably the night of everybody else around us. Is it our fault that we're tall people who got better tickets than they did? Not really.

Why is the world filled with nasty people?
Rather than trying to fix something and find a better solution (aka seats), they begin flaming unnesessarily.

ugh.

Has something like that ever happened to you before?

I've had several experiences.

Most at the movies actually. This woman got a drunk come and sit by her and her children. XD I have no idea how he got in but he soon got himself removed.

When i was younger my father took me to see a film and there was a bunch of teenage boys in there, making a lot of noise and throwing stuff around so after awhile of it, he turned around and threatened to break their nose if they didn't shut up. XD

Finnnallllyy I went to the movies with some friends awhile back, edged through the seats and got these moron girls blabbering and ***** cause we had to sqeeze past, er what? We have to get to our seats I'm so sorry my backside blocked your view for a whole 5 seconds, lets face it, the film was trash you got a better sight anyway.

But that's beyond the point, we'd sat down and they carried on moaning.

Why? I got sick of it in the end i told her if she wants to be a ***** she should go to a dog home, not a cinema. :oops:

I got a dirty look from that but she shut up beyond it.

That's your best bet, try to get them removed and if you can't, insult them.

Speaking to you like that is way OTT you shouldn't of put up with it, In a place like that I'd have got them removed.

I remember when I was in Greece. Watching a cabriolet and this old foreign woman kept shouting and it was really annoying.

It's happened to me at the cinema too. I was there with my ex-girlfriend and a group of chavs sat directly behind us and kept kicking our chairs, throwing chocolate and stuff. I remember turning round later to find out they must've been 3 years younger than me, and I could've easily knocked the crap outta them o.O

I remember going to watch a movie ON CHRISTMAS DAY and there were some teenage girls sitting in the row behind us WHO WON'T FREAKING SHUT UP. They keep making the stupidest comments on the movie and it wasn't until the end until some guy got ***** off enough to shut them up.

Well at the Movie Theatre once, a man on his cell phone wouldn't stop texting to someone so ever 3-5 minutes I'd head a *tone* and a *giggle* and then the clicking of his phone numbers being pushed down.

And again I was at a play "Phantom of The Opera" which I love, and I took my girlfriend to see it and she liked it until some kids (5 or 6 years old) started whining "This play is boring! I'm bored! Let's go and get some CH0C0LAT3@!!@!" and they wouldn't shut up, so their Dad said "If you don't shut up in 3 seconds I'm going to whip you with my belt@" I turned around and told him "Nice parrenting, what bunk do you want in your cell? Top or bottem bunk?" he got his kinds and ran out the door right away.

I agree with this 100%. Its the same way here in st. louis. go to the movies and theres always those little ignorant kids that are like 1-2 years younger than u are and they have their gf's with them so they try to bad mouth you to make them seem tough. I swear one time me and my friend mike and his gf went to the movies to see national treasure 2 and there was some of those little ignorant wannabes there talkin smack to us. luckily they shut up after about halfway thru the movie cuz me and mike told each other if they didnt we'd take em outside afterwards and just start whailin on their face. haha
