Release Date

In the last devolopment diary there was a picture of a calender in the background. It had a week starting with the 13th circled in green. But, there was also something in the bottom corner which I couldn't make out.. Take a look. Any thoughts?

The bottom right corner says Jan.

As in January ..

You can see a week circled in the calender if you zoom in. Which is next week.

Yea I've heard all kinds of theories about the release dates. Clearly it says Jan. at the bottom but ive heard ppl say that it looks like "22/7" in which is 3.142857 repeating. This of course rounded to 3.14 therefore saying "it will be released the 3rd week in jan on the 14th day" this actually does sound reasonable. i think its gonna come out monday personally, but not because of this reason.

Ya I saw a better quality picture the bottom corner for sure says "Jan". As for a release date my guess would be monday or tuesday morning. The reason behind this being are as follows.

REASONS FOR THE DATE
1. Those dates are within the Green Circle

2. They are both working/business days in the UK, so Jagex's offices will be fully staffed and ready for any problems which may arise.

3. Jagex usually releases big updates at the beginning of the week. Partly for the reason stated above. (they will have 5 whole days of full workdays from their employees)

REASON FOR THE TIME (morning)
4. They might not really consider this but I think it makes sense.. The majority of players will be in school, this will make it easier on the servers at the start.

Probally be monday or tuesday, full staff, so more people to take care of the rants and hate mail :lol:

, but it would probally be the begining of the week so full staff can answer more questions.

It should be anyway, with this clue, and they said 'early' this month, probably meaning before halfway... Lolz.

Ya, lol I'm anxious for it to come out.. Jagex has certainly had enough time to prepare..

The update doesn't come out in the morning our time. It comes out at about 3-4:00 pm, as this is their time that I live in.

So they just put it out that time because thats when they're finished.

After further research, I believe it is coming out the 15th (Tuesday). The very large majority of updates has come out them, and like a said, Jagex said it was coming out 'early' this month, and the 16th is past halfway. So yeah, I guess Tuesday, January 15th.

that seems possible, i think they might do it on the last week.
