F2P fishing

I can't seem to find a fast way to fish f2p (I'm not expecting that fast, just better than 10-15k an hour).

Now that pkings gone, it's hard to give away the fish that you get so you can power fish. Dropping takes too long. Plus I also want to get cooking up.

I was thinking about running to a bank.

Which one is better, running to the Edgeville or running to West Varrock?

My recommendation is don't run...it takes around 2-3 min to run to a bank and back...that is a lot of time you can be fishing.

Just to to world 1 or 3 and hand out the cooked fish (or raws if you prefer) to noobs standing around doing the SoS. It is pretty fast and the money really isn't worth the banking time...just my opinion though.

Yeah I was doing that before, it's just now with pking gone, not many people want free food...

I got my fishing to 80 on f2p, and you train cooking. Go to Barbarian village take hold an axe and carry a tenderbox and feathers and a fly rod, fish for salmon and trout. Chop a tree down, light the wood cook and give the food away. Its the fastest way to get fishing xp.

Yes they do! Have you ever heard of training? People need tonnes of food to train effectively. Just try harder to give it away.

Especially with people training at the Stronghold of Security. If they decide to resurface and see someone shouting "Free Food".

I mean, that happens once every 10 inventories of fish... Now that theres no pkers, not many people beg for food constantly... I can't rely on people to constantly take my fish...

Okay, I have been in world 1 and 3 and I'm pretty sure people still want food. You have to be in a crowded world though. I doubt anyone wanted them for pking before. Salmon and trout aren't that good. Most of the people still use for SoS training. I'm pretty sure they are still there, but the world has to be packed for it to work.

I trained by fishing in Barbarian (fly fishing), and banking in Edgeville. I'm not sure, but I think I get around 20k per hour.

If you're going for exp, why does it matter wether you drop your food or give it away or eat it?
Banking takes a lot of time, the time that you could be using to get exp.

As well:

you can go to karamja and fish lobsters; cook them; run to the general store and sell them all... not only do you get fishing and cooking exp, but you get money as well. A good hour will get you around 20-30k exp fishing lobbies.

I agree...but if you can find a place to give it away do so. It cuts about 20 to 30 seconds worth of dropping off.
