Be Careful: New Scam

Ok whether or not this is an old or new scam idk but plz no flamming. And another thing this information is for positive knowledge only this is not to be used to perform the scam yourself. Positive knowledge intended only.

Anyway.....

So i was at the GE today trying to sell some mahog logs and i noticed someone selling a dragon box set for lower then usual price. about 10m. (standing at the GE not actually in the exchange system itself) i figured id go and see wht it was all about cuz i mean cmon who doesnt want to make an easy 3m

. anyway, i trade him and he offers it and i offer my cash and he hits accept and so do i then he denies. first thing that pops into my mind is hmm this is fishy so im extra careful the next time i trade him. sure enough he offered a full set of red dhide which looks almost identical to d set. fortunatly i caught it and reported him, but i just wanted to let everyone kno of this growing scam that is becoming more and more prominant thru-out rs.

Basic thing to look out for is red dhide set if ur buying d set boxes.

Just thought id let everyone kno.

It shouldn't be too hard to spot. The word "Red" shouldn't appear in a full set of Dragon.

Yea np anytime but the thing that could get ya is like the low price gets u excited or whtever and ur so anxious to get it u just hit accept accept but yea i see ur point too.

Seems just like the noted dragon legs -> red hide chaps.

People will catch on within minutes. Thanks for the heads up however.

I read about similar scams (I myself was never scammed)... Jagex really need to make some item icons differ more.

They work on it i mean mage logs look change so it wont look a bit similar to willows
