So, who's excited about Summoning? It looks like it's not coming out for a little while longer, but I can't wait. I don't think that the development diary was written that well though. It gave more background on Summoning and less background on WHAT summoned animals would be specifically capable of doing. C'mon, Jagex! Stop being coy with us.

I'd give this a 2/5. Hmpf.

It looks pretty interesting actually...just to see a brand new type of skill that will seem weird to raise. Hopefully it wont cost any money like Construction.

I might have to come back to RS just to see how this skill works out.

I for one, like surprises. I don't like being told that something amazing is going to happen, and then it turn out to be a giant pile of uneven crap. Although it is nice to know how they work on a skill, and they seem to have been very indecisive over what summoning was going to be, I'd much rather they release something like this -after- they've added it into the game. It didn't go over well with me with the Halloween update, the dark bow announcement and it hasn't gone over well now.

Nevertheless after reading the diary I think I'm going to like it. It looks pretty good.

I love being surprised. I'd rather go two months without knowing anything about summoning then waiting and hoping that it will be decent. It makes me mad that they're using this to get excited TWO MONTHS before it comes out. Oh well, I'd better start thinking about renewing my membership.

Hope they don't mess it up...They've taken enough time doing this, so hopefully nothing will be messed up :lol:
