Another scam this time they offer stuff that looks like the item they're trying to sell. Like iron in the place of coal.

notice the giant flashing red ! if they change. and the second trade screen is there for a reason, so use it...

if we all used the second trade screen, there would be far less scammed players.

I fell for it once quite a long time ago (when the shift between be able to trust everyone and being able to trust no one occured :roll:) and ended up with 1k iron instead of 1k coal. It wasn't too big of a loss at least.

Hah. I remember falling for the Yew/Willow logs scam about 2 years ago. Indeed, I felt stupid and laughed it off.

The worse when these kinds of scams happen is that if you cancel the trade, the other guy logs out of RS so fast that you can't even report...

when you get scammed too the same thing. ya know youd think that no one could item scam anymore after all the stuff theyve done...but they still try

yea, i bought like 1k iron instead of coal too...i was like dang it..n since its a crowded world, the names disappear fast because everyone is talking, so i never had the chance to report. but i was like, well, i can easily make this money back i hope

Whenever I trade anyone, I write their name down somewhere, so if they do scam it's very easy to report them.

In spite of this, they should have a "report last trade" option, but that's beside the point :?
