Teamspeak and Non-RS Gaming Forum

Well you guys asked for them, so here they are

The Non-RS Gaming forum is located as a sub-forum under non-rs discussion here.

The teamspeak is located at 209.160.65.34:8767 and you have to login with your forum name and password. You need a teamspeak client which can be downloaded here.

I'm not sure how well the teamspeak will go, so we shall have to see. The chat mod group will be used for teamspeak mods and additional clan chat mods. For now it will be mostly unmoderated till we get some people who we trust will do a good job and want to help, so private message any issues to Shane or I.

The chat client has also been removed from the site as it hasn't been used since clan chat came out in game. Thanks to Nate and Matt for running that previously.

Install TeamSpeak. Open TeamSpeak. Click on Connection - > Quick Connect

Put in the IP as server address and type in your forum login info, and you should be on.

Mac client won't let you send text messages to everyone in the channel, teamspeak didn't make it anyway. We probably have to be a mod or something to get the option to. I tried to ask Shane to make me one to see if it worked but he flipped out on me...

I think we could use some separate rooms...I can see 10+ people being in it with quite a bit of talking going on :wink:

I've been in it all day, I think we got up to 9 people at one point. :wink:

I didn't think it would get even that much attention, but I see it as an asset for events and the non-rs events even if people don't use it otherwize. I would like people to use it though, it took quite a while for me to get it to work with forum logins :oops:
