Nothing wrong with it, and I fail to see why anyone would think there is anything wrong with it. Having small amounts of alcohol is actually beneficial to your health in various ways. A glass of wine every night or a pint of beer is fine.

Binge drinking is idiocy. Getting drunk once a month is actually worse than having one drink every night. But smaller amounts of alcohol I don't see anything wrong with.

Yes, I drink alcohol. A glass of wine with sunday dinner and a pint of beer or cider every saturday.

Smoking, drugs, etc, though, I oppose them, mostly.

Drinking, fine.

Smoking, no.

Why? :-s Drinking causes death and stupidity far more than smoking. Except if "Wine at sunday dinner" counts as "Drinking."

As for the topic; No, drinking isn't wrong. Neither is smoking. They're both legal, both your own decisions.

Both are, though, destroying your body and dying really slowly. Fun? No. But if you wish for that, sure, go ahead.

I just returned from a pub, where we had a few drinks with friends, my opinion on alcohol is, and I hope everyone will agree,

"Alcohol is ok aslong you know your limits and don't trouble other people around you."

Btw, boobis is dragon member?

drinking is fine but only in moderation. If you go out and get drunk every night you're going to die early but that's your choice. I myself have a history of alcoholics in my family so I don't plan on drinking. ever.

I've made my own mistakes by not knowing my limit but I didn't get drunk and I'm not going to make that mistake again. Getting drunk is not going to make anybody cool. You only drink within your limit, not going over.

I don't drink, and I will never drink. I have seen first-hand what alcohol addiction does to people, and I refuse to let it happen to me.

No, I don't think the occasional drink is bad, and like mentioned above, it can actually be healthy.

There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. Alcohol is great for drinking with friends.

But personally I can't imagine myself, now almost 16 to get me a beer and sit in front of the PC and drink and play WoW.

But I can imagine myself smoking and playing WoW but thats a different story since my parents don't know about the smoking part and they probably wouldn't let me do it so I have to hide. :(

The sandbox was very rarely used by moderators, site owners and admins, it was used by the regular member to have "fun". Flame baiting, spamming or whatever, I think it would have been only fair to ask what everyone else thought first. Regardless of the outcome, it would have been a lot less selfish (because removing it like this is) and would have gotten a much better response.

There's nothing wrong with controlled drinking. Just make sure it doesn't get out of hand, like at parties. (Personal experiences...)
