a whole new runescape

in rune scape i believs there should be three changes

1.we should be able to make our chacaters goblins and other creaters
2.weapons and armor should look better as well
3.we should be able to see other players stats so we know if we are being scammed into going to the wild to just get killed

You Can see their stats already, just open up the Highscores page on another Web tab or briwser window.

Weapons and armors wont be getting to look better unless Runescape decides to make a graphic engin update or update their look specifically. Doing so would probably introduse a million new glitches or defects. Updating the weapons or armors appearance isnt high on the Jagex staff's to-do list, Im sure.

And as for diference races for playable characters, I believe that is unlikely.

Say I want to level range, but I can't because the race I chose doesn't do it, another race does. I don't want to be limited to certain things, I want to be able to do everything.

Most of the newer items look better than plain rune, adamant, mithril, etc. I would like it if you were able to customize your armor in some way though.

We have a Luner Magic spell that does that already, and theres always the hiscores.

There are polygon limits to weapons and armour, just like there are for monsters and buildings. The graphics are not limited by Jagex's ability but by the Java engine they're running the game on.

To improve the graphics too much would really remove the point of runescape altogether, it was created to be easily loaded in a web browser - so you wouldn't have to download an hours worth of patches or a 4gb client when you want to play.

Erhm, 1- new races and such: would be just like world of warcraft, and like Warren said- I wouldnt want to be limited to such skills or be better in some than others.
2- Better armour: I don't see anything wrong with the armour at the moment, id rather keep the armour now than get loads more that have loads of bugs.
3- Players stats: Just use lunar magicks or the hi-scores. It would totally bring down pking and the whole objective of pures.

Thats what I think. Why don't you try and send in some of your ideas to Jagex and see what they think?
But remember- new updates effect the whole economy, Jagex have to think these things through thoroughly.

For the races that wouldn't be bad but you would probably have to make a new account and start all over. But it would be good if we could use all the skills as a regular human.

Well for 1 to add other races into the game just about the whole game would have to be changed, all the quests especially.

Next if your playing runescape for the graphics i would suggest you quit now, and finally its easy enough to view someone elses stats just open the highscores.

Umm I like the new races one if we weren't limited.
Weapons and armor, they are already really good looking.
hiscores and lunar magics are there for the stat looking thing.

Well, if someone is trying to 'scam' you into the Wilderness, you won't be able to be scammed because there is a ditch that you have to jump over to get into the wilderness.
