Well I want block MySpace off my computer. I want it to go away forever. My cousin thinks he owns my computer and closes out of all my tabs and goes to MySpace. So, yes you can call this revenge.

So how do I blocka site with, Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer. Thanks. :D

Well, you could always block the site from the entire computer, not just the browsers.

You'll need to be an administrator to do this. There might be different steps to follow in Vista. This guide is mainly designed for XP.

Navigate to C:/Windows/system32/drivers/etc (yes, this is pretty deep in your system. Call it hacking if you will) and open the file hosts. Open it in notepad or programmers notepad or an equivalent text editor.

Add the following two lines to the end:

Code:
127.0.0.1 myspace.com
127.0.0.1 myspace.co.uk


Then save, and reboot.

You shouldn't be able to access Myspace in anything. Not Opera or Firefox or IE. Not other browsers, not even other programs will be able to open it. It will simply fail and throw up a 404 error.

Also is there a way to block it so I need a password maybe so I can show sympathy for my cousin at times? :D

Not that I know of.

Keep it blocked, myspace is the scourge of the western world.

Why dont youjust beat him up, seriusly..

or

put a keylogger on ur computer, and change his space pass lol

Not "keeping in touch", it's "stalking". And WAY too many people have a Myspace, naturally repelling me.
