They have the same speed.

I think darts hit a bit higher (not sure) but the fact is that knives are more popular due to the fact that you do not need feathers...

I would personally take Throwing Knives.

Yes, your right.

Same speed, only difference is Knives hit slightly better and have a slightly longer range, also they only require metal, not feathers.
