omigod jagex loves me this week!!! im a total defense/prayer man, and generally anti pure, and this quest is perfect to stick it in pure faces :p

high level prayers requireign high level defense, = pwnage. just unlockingthe prayers earns you 53k defense exp, placing a 99 attack and strength pure with 1 defense up at 43 already :p rune pure anyone? then to use the prayers in the first place you have to at least be able to wear the helm of neitiznot (-quest req.) and that greater of the two at least be able to wear 3rd age melee. or for those simpler minds, they require 55 and 65 defense respectively.

and thanks to piety, the latter of the two prayers which gives +25% defense, +23% strength, and +20% attack, it is now possible for a player to have a level equivalent to 150 defense ^_^

99 base + 19 potted = 118 x 125% = 147.5 defense :p
99 base + 19 potted = 118 x 123% = 145.14 strength
99 base + 19 potted = 118 x 120% = 141.6 attack

plugging those values in the old "in brain combat calc", for melee based players, combat levels are every 3 attack or strength and every 4 defense or hp. so adding 88 total attack+strength and 48 total defense, (88/3=29.3) (48/4=12)

a level 126 player would then be the same as a level 167 ^_^ i'd hate to come across that player in the wilderness. (dang im such a math nerd >.< )

well you must remember this was a farily melee based quest anyway... king arthur and his KNIGHTS of the round table... knights are usually melee, unless they're wierd. :s plus the minigame to unlock them is a melee only battle, so why would you unlock mage and ranged prayers for a melee battle? :p no doubt we'll get a combination range and mage +20% defense +25% prayer sometime soon, and hopefully some original prayers as well.

i really hope to see some prayers similar to smite to mix up pking :p like one that lowers strength for every 4 damage you hit, or my favorite possibility, a secondary retribution and redemption set which, instead of damaging/jhealing just a bit like the first ones do, heal/damage based on how many prayer points you have left upon death/reaching 10%.

*drools* prayer coudl be so dang cool if jagex extended it to 85+like with every other skill.

i dont say it was bad and i didint even mentioned about thats we should get mage def or ranged def preys form this quest i just sugested that there could be next preys to come

I like the way the hiscores work now, as even those without ranked skills can still show their levels off...Now my f2p noob has all but 1 f2p skill viewable

I LOVE the new prayers, and I would recommend the quest to anyone who has the prayer levels to utilize these great prayers. Plus, no-defense pures are given 33k defense experience, so I doubt many will go for the prayers if they are not already a defense lover.

I hit two 43s in a row on the same person in castle wars with this.
