Everyone knew who R.A.B was. :/ Or if some hardcore Potter fan didn't, i'm very disappointed.

I don't get how Draco could be the true wand owner? Can someone explain that to me?

Also it was interesting how Snape had done all the good thing for Harry, because he loved Lily actually more then he hated James. That was a really nice touch. I was shocked to be honest realizing that none of the main characters died (Harry, Ron, Hermione) and a lot of rumours were actually false. It would be nice if Rowling did write little bit more ob Harry's future rather then telling that he married Ginny and had 3 kids with her. Not who he grew up to be or who his friends had become, etc.

See in the 6th book, Draco disarmed Dumbledore, hence stealing it from him. So when harry disarmed Draco, he stole his wand, which was still the Elder Wand. So when Harry had the wand, we stole it from Draco, who stole it from Dumbledore.

I thought it was a really great book, yet at the same time slightly predictable. Nearly all of the theories I heard about (including the one about Neville becoming Herbology Professor) came out to be true. I was also slightly disappointed that Harry DID turn out to be a horcrux (I was hoping he wouldn't). However, the Deathly Hallows was a nice twist that Jo put in, as well as Dumbledore's past. Snape's memories were also great. Epilogue = iffy.

yeah I loved learning about the past of Snape and others. The thing that i dident like was that it never said who was Head Master, just that Neville was Herbology Prof. which fits him perfectly.

Rofl.

The book itself was pretty good, though the epilogue was too sugar-coated.

What amazes me is Rowling's mind, having the basic storyline of all seven books when she started (not the fine details of course). Stuff like Harry surviving, horcruxes, the prophecy, Snape, etc etc. I read somewhere she made the ending when she started so she had something to write up to.

Oh thanks! That was the part I missed too, but having just read that I can vaguely remember it now - seems like so long ago it was that I read the sixth book. :P

HERE'S what happens.

Harry dies, then meets Dumbledore at a train station.

Harry comes back to life because Voldemort killed his own soul when he tried to kill Harry.

Someone gets an ear blown off.

Harry is split into 7 clones.

Dumbledore tells Snape to kill him.

Harry robs a bank.

I think that about covers it. If you didn't read the book, you probably wouldn't believe it.

I figured out who RAB was before reading the rumors on the internet :) And I figured out that Snape had to be good a few months ago, when I thought about it. Harry should have kept that stone... And the wand... And he could have been a master of death.

Rowling has released some new details about the 19 years between the end of the seventh and the prologue.

Hermione works in the Ministry of Magic, and is high up in the department of Magical Law Enforcement, even though she said she would not like to work in law. Ron and Harry also work in the Ministry, in the Auror Department, at which Harry is now head.

Luna Lovegood has gone out into the world as a kind of naturalist of magical creatures. She does eventually find that some of the monsters featured in the Quibbler were not, in fact, real.

Neville is Herbology teacher at hogwarts, but his parents have still not recovered, and will probably stay within St Mungo's for the rest of their lives. Neville's grandmother now accepts Neville as a talented wizard.

Victoire is Bill and Fleur's oldest daughter.

There is no longer a jinx on the defence against the dark arts teacher. McGonogall is not the headteacher of Hogwarts anymore, it's someone new. Rowling also said she can see Harry going into Hogwarts to give the odd talk on defence against the dark arts.

So yeah, these things do close some questions that were left annoyingly open.

Great find, that answered hell of a lot of questions I had in mind.
