Would you support a withdrawl of Iraq? How long do you think the withdrawl should be. Take into account the the problems you could cause with the time of your withdrawl withdrawl.

I would take one year to fully withdrawl of Iraq, i would cut back the amount of troops in Irag in two months two around 50,000 and i would go down to even more to around 10,000 in around 10 months. After the one year i would have all combat miltary pressence out of Iraq. Before i signed a withdrawl act i would tell the Iraqi goverment to step up beacuse were out in a year. After the full withdrawl i would send in waves of private compaines to build Irag to a modern state.

I never though i would agree with Trekkie, but yes, As long as it takes. I see it taking 2 more years TBH, but I will go with a year.

i also see Iraq being a power nations because of it's natural resources, so i hope that someone that is intelligent is in controll of that power so that the money goes to rebuilding Iraq into the great country it use to be. Exp: School, roads, law enforcement. Iraq has GREAT potential, and I think it is going to come out being a very successful, and a model country for the middle east.

Stupid to think US or british troops can solve the problems there now.

The very moment British and US troops pull out that countrys going into a civil war. Might as well leave now and get it over with, damage is done and nothing we do is gunna change what's going to happen.

We're wasting our time, our resources, our money.

Best bet is to pull out now, they'll all be so preoccupied with killing each other they wont have the time to plan many bomb attacks on us.

Same affect as a nuke, except we don't look so bad.

So much damage has been dealt in the last few years I doubt that our presence, or lack of it, is going to make things any better or any worse.

In 1975 the United States of America pulled out of vietnam in under 24 hours, not entirely but from the capitol. Thousands of women, childern, and men were excuted for supporting America and not supporting comunism. I see the same thing happening to Iraq if we were to pull out now, all the men who haved joined the army and the police, all the kids who have recieved candy from the troops and supporting them. All the women who talked to the Americans, all killed if we withdrew now. The insurgents are blending in with the citizens and they are watching. If we were to withdrawl now the country would be overran by radicals, would you want another Iran?

...whos to say they won't do that when you eventually leave. I can't see them not harming those who supported the Americans, if you leave later, rather than if you leave now.

They should stay in Iraq until the problem is solved.

As mush as I believe Iraq is ending up like a Vietnam, I can't say that I agree with the withdrawl of American troops.

Taking the troops out of Iraq would only demoralize our soldiers and the families, who have persevered as their son/daughter was other fighting in a foreign country. Also not to mention that fact that many of our soldiers, like in Vietnam, would have died in vain.

So, I believe American troops need to have a presence until stability is found in Iraq.

And that's going to change? These people aren't going to go away. Ever.

You can't kill terrorism and to be honest, it was a stupid move to declare war on it. You can't win a war on something that can't be destroyed.

The very MOMENT we pull troops out expect civil war. Those that want the government in place now and those that don't.

The only reason the government is even there right now is because of British and American troops.

Right now British people and American people are under attack because those that don't want the government want us out of there country. And to be blunt and I've no doubt I'll upset a few people by this comment, I'd rather they was murdering each other than the British public.

Only option is to pull out, let them fight, it'll die down and balance out a few years down the line. I really don't see anything more coming out of staying in the country.

Still, that's my view on it. My opinion.
