Draynor WC Bots just got CHOPPED

I would advise all forum members to take some time out for a stroll through the picturesque lands between Draynor and Lumbridge.

Go on, I dare you.

The WC bots in this area have been banned.

Try F2P even.

GG Bots - you got pwned by Jagex.

I've gotten too lazy to record which ones I report, but I'm crafting bow strings right now, and every time I go from the bank to spinning wheel I can report a flax macroer.

My sister saw me doing it and got mad at me for not letting people have fun. o.O

I don't care about the planking bots or the tanning bots. Anybody could do it, it doesn't make a difference. But flax...

they did this a while back too, when I was training for 70 firemaking
ALL the bots at my trees were gone, for like one or two days
then after they all came back again

luckily i was close to finishing my goal and left right after they came

maybe it was just a coincidence that time and this time it might be for real
who knows

I've been reporting 5+ wc-bots whenever I go to Draynor. I didn't really think about it, but when I went there yesterday, I wasn't able to see any bots in the bank. I just figured they were out chopping and dismissed the thought. Thanks for informing me that they were not!

As speedy mentioned above, there are the odd one or two GP farmers who WC and can look like bots.

A couple of them slipped the net but stick out like a sore thumb.

They will get banned very easily now.

I doubt they will ever announce the mass ban they just carried out. I'd love to know numbers on it.

The other skills will be taken care of too - I would imagine flax & autobuyers are high on their list as they are some of the most visible.
Ess / fishing bots after that.
Followed by the rest.

BTW - The news article is unrelated and is something the chinese authorities have been threatening them with for a long while - it is also almost totally unenforcable and relies heavily on game manufacturer support. The only reason they are shouting abou tit is because they have been unable to succesfully tax the income generated by those trading in virtual goods. A multi- million dollar market. THAT is why they are making out that they are going to restrict the usage.
