RSB&B StarCraft Broodwar Tournament - Signups

This the first ever RSB&B Tournament held by me of course. This tournament is new and I'm still working on it. Please stay tuned to this topic for updates for this can change any day. The tournament isn't alctually known untill we know how many people will enter. You can use this entry form here.

You need atleast 100 posts to enter this, I'm sorry but it's a matter of trust. You can join the next one if you meet the 100 posts standard.

This tournament may be teams; depending on how many entrants there are. If there are teams, the teams will be choosen at random. I'm sorry but it's just what I thought would be fair. This may change, but it's not likely too. The rest of the rules are as followed.

No changeing teams.
No hacks.
No ally victories.
No calling people noobs or discouraging them. This is supposed to be a fun community event!
Have fun.

I will be participating in this also, so please don't fear. You're probably wondering if there is a prize. The prize will be a snazzy signature from one of our local artists here. Everyone will recieve one for the place you earned or for atleast participting.

The matches will be on the weekend; either Sunday or Staurday (read poll) and will not change for just one person. Sorry. And these will be on the US West Coast server so make sure your in there! This thread will change will when the signups are over with teams and more details!

So get ready, set and go. Let's go have a grand time at this. Remember to have fun!

Note: These signups will end on June 15th. No particular reason why.

Race you plan to use: If we use Fastest map Possible, I want Terran, if we are using a normal map i want to use Zerg. Also u want to be as far away from Lord Zammy as I an, he knows my stratiges to much... And Shhh Dont give them away Zammy

It's a computer game.

And, hey, wow. This is weird, but I was just dusting off my Brood War CD 5 minutes before posting this. I haven't played the game in a really long time though. I might do it.

I suppose i could...get my hands on a copy but i wont know what i'm doing. If we have partners then maybe. Is it an expansion pack? Will i need to get ahold of starcraft and broodwar?

Broodwar is the expansion pack, so get both (original needed for installing).

I would play it but I can't find it any of the stores...Around here does it cost anything? as I can see it was designed for 95/98/NT?

That was the old one. I think it was rated M to = s But the new one will work on XP and Vista. Did you try Wal-Mart? The Battle Chest cost 20 bucks.

We will be probably be doing a Fastest Possible map. Eaither that or we will be doing big game hunters.

And this game is an expansion but it's quite old (1999 I believe?). The Chest which comes with the original game and the expansion is only 20 dollars and should be at Wal-Mart.

This game should work on older games since it was made beofre XP.

Any more questions and I'd be glad to help.

Edit: I have decided we will be doing some games after the tournament. The games will consist of Helms Deep, Evolves, and other things as well.
