May I direct you to cropping 101.

A constellation is a star cluster, so you can see more than constellations. Infact you can probably see Mars and Saturn if you know where to look. Also I'm pretty sure Venus can be seen anywhere in the world at one point in time.

Now how exactly would that work for people on the other side of the planet, eh? Earth is the next best thing to a sphere, so SOMEBODY is going to have the core of the earth in the way at any given time. (Say, you draw a secant from Venus to the core of the earth and continue it through to the surface?)

I do hope you know that the Earth rotates. Agent said "at one point in time"

Also these forums aren't html.

Ah, I see what he meant now. There was either a misplaced modifier or a comma missing in his statement.

What he said led me to believe that
"There is one point in time during which everyone on Earth can see Venus"
rather than
"Everywhere on Earth can see Venus at one point or another"

Theres been this star hanging around the moon (and later, when the moon wasn't visible, in that spot) for a few days now - might that be Venus?
And how do you know it's not just a star? (Not doubting you - just curious)
