In your opinion, what do you think is the skill that's the most worthwhile to train? (Excluding Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Magic and Ranged.)

Probably runecrafting. so many people need runes, very few people can be bothered to make them, so it pays really well, once you hit 91, making that kind of money, all you have to do is make nats for about a week and theres a blue partyhat....

I would say RuneCrafting since its the fastest way to make money with a skill that I know of.

But fishing is needed to get food. And cooking is needed to cook them.
Smithing is required to smelt ores and smith bars into armor. And mining is required to get the ore.

Why get a 99 quickly when you can enjoy the skill for a longer time and make a lot of money in the process?

Runecrafting is probably the best money maker, but probably having a 99 cb skill is more useful.

Herblore, or Slayer because it involves combat. Runecrafting is overrated.

I don't know, a lot of people had said Runecrafting based on the fact it makes money. That's not really what I was asking. I meant that, which skill do you think gives the most benefit to train?

Personally I think Herblore is by far the most worthwhile skill to train. After all, the potions you create are almost always useful while training. Not to mention the profits you can get from super sets and prayer potions.

Well, with runecrafting you could just make a bunch of cash and then buy your way to high skills such as herblore.

But what did such a Teuton afterwards look like when he had been "improved" and led into a monastery? Like a caricature of a human being, like an abortion: he had become a "sinner," he was in a cage, one had imprisoned him behind nothing but sheer terrifying concepts... There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols

I would ay that Herblore has the most advantages to training it, as the products are used in a variety of other skills. High level Prayer can increase your survival rate. I guess it depends on whether you're skilling or fighting.
