Mage from 20-55

Does anyone know a (somewhat) cheap way to get from 20-55 magic? I'm trying to manage my money the best I can since I need all I can save for 82 magic.

I was thinking Pest Control, but I would rather use my PC points on range if I could.

No Wind Strikes to level 55 either. XD

But if anyone can help I would very much appreciate it! Thanks!

I would say make minds and airs, use a fire staff, and get 55 magic using fire strikes. I know it doesn't seem like alot of xp, but my friend did this and he flew to 55 magic in no time. Just mass cast it on something like fire gaints.

Let's see, I've figured it would take me ~8,500 casts of fire strike. A total of about 255K. Not bad. But I'll wait for a little more feedback before I go through with that method.

Well i used fire strike on my pure for 60 : B U L L E Ty

And that took me about 15k casts or so.

Which is only 450k for 60 magic and 48 hits.

So 450k for 60 magic isn't bad at all.

But you want 55. So that should be around 8.5K casts which is 425k for 55 magic and around 45 hits.

So that's rather cheap.

Or you can do as Ryan posted and craft the runes yourself creating an even cheaper way.

OR, you can kill elemental wizards south of fally collecting runes. Even cheaper alternative.

Or just spam someone for runes

I have all the runes you need for 55 just for metal drags and barrows

lol.

curse,weaken etc. etc. They are the cheapest way to get to 55...maybe not the fastest, but if you get the runes and go to a mage puppet..for example: the zammy wizard in the cage under varrock castle stairs and cast for a few hours it saves a hell of a lot o' money

try casting curse on the zammy mage in varrock jail since bodys, earths, and waters are cheap.

Don't really care, I get most of my HP from Ranging. But I don't really want to have to get 20 Attack to wield the Mud Battlestaff.
