Cool, next years drum major for my school is the worst yet, I hope she won't be as bad as I suspect

hehe..i replaced the drum major everyone wanted gone..i was the one ppl wanted

cause..i can keep time...lol..anyways..should be interesting..esspecially cause my co-drum major is going to be gone for alotta the summer..so..im left with a LOT of work

Lol, your a replacement? SO you weren't exactly the first in place? Jk, 2 drum majors? About how many people in the band?

There were 2 drum majors, 4 tried out, i got 2nd. And there will be about 80-100 in the band, though the cuts in the middle school music programs in Arizona are killing high school marching bands

Well grats I'm not that much into instruments...they annoy me. And your band seems pretty big too :shock:

cool, but imo, drums are too loud and annoying. I prefer the string instruments. Last time my orchestra played with adrum in it, i couldn't hear myself play

hehe..Drum Major has actually nothing to do with Drums at all. THe Drum Major is the lead student authority in a marching band, the person who conducts it.

So, me and my friend will be the conductors and lead student authority in the band

I cant play the drums worth anything, though I am one of the best technical marchers and players

i play drums, but i play a drum kit not marching band drums. so i play heavier stuff than id imagine you do.

heres an idea: do the blister exists - slipknot. thats got marching drums in it
