Um, Waffles, you might want to look up the definition of sodomy. I think the word you were looking for was bondage/sadomasochism. Nonetheless, this isn't the place to talk about it.

He means being "whipped" as in being submissive compared to your partner.

Heres a fast thing to know if your whipped:

If the other person (could be friend, mother, gf, wife, fiance..etc) tells you to for instance turn the fan on. You get up to do it, look back and realize that you werent hot in the first place...
