Essay of the Month

Hello and welcome to Essay of the Month. Essay of the Month was a recent idea made by me, Sev. Essay of the month is here to test your writting skills. Every month will have a specific theme consisting of books, games, RuneScape, movies and lots of other fun and exciting things!

Currently the only judge is me. I will be deciding the winner based on creativity, information, length, grammar, spelling and puncuation. You are aloud to have a maximum of 10 speeling mistakes and 5 punctuation mistakes. If you exceed any of the limits you will be disqualified from winning the trophy.

Oh I forgot, what is the trophy? Well a special sig rembling this months theme. I'll probably get MQ or someone to design the siganture. Besides that you get the bragging rights of being one of the best writters here. I will not be able to take part in this competition for I am one of the judges. I am hoping for this to beome a big event and I hope I can get some more of the Newspaper Staff to help me judge this. Oh the Newspaper Staff can NOT take place in this because they are already awesome writters. :wink:

So anyways this months theme is Games. You must write about of your favorite video games. RuneScape is not acceptable. You will be asked to redo your essay if it s about RuneScape. It also must be a game that is already out. No upcoming games. It may also not be in MMO game like WoW.
You must include the following about your game: Producer, release date, storyline of the game itself, system(s) it can be played on, how do you rate the game (ie. 4 out of 5 stars + reasons why) and many more factors of the game (music etc.) almost as if it were a review itself.
Your story must be more than 5 paragraphs (easy) and also must include atleast one picture.

You may post your game that you choose and I'll put it as claimed up here. If someone posts the same game as you but your second you may shoose a second game.

Your essays will be posted here in the same post as where you claimed it. This month you get a few extra days since this is the first month and Im still thinking of some ideas.

Yes lol, I know how to write an essay.

I think I'm going to focus onto different factors of the game, such as graphics, storyline, music, etc. Almost as if a review of the game. Is that alright?

Hmm...

I think I'll go into the subject of why RuneScape attracts many people, even though it is basically clicking with Java graphics, maybe into some other games and why they are an alternative to RS.

I said no RuneScape or MMOs. I said you almost giving a review of the game storyline, etc. RuneScape doesn't have a storyline. The quests do though. Quests will be a future Essay of the Month. :wink:

I am stupid. o_o For some reason I don't think of runescape as an mmo most of the time. And I should have paid more attention, I read your post then came back later, realizing I had to write an essay on games without reading the entire thing again.

Eh.. I'll do one on...one of my favorite shooting games, War Rock!

First i'd like to ask, can i make essay of two games on the same series?

If so, add me to Lego Star wars 1 and 2.

If not, add me to Tomb Raider Legends.
