How many languages do you know?

I speak Mandarin, Taiwanese and English fluently. I can understand Cantonese but I can't speak it.

Learning Spanish.

I can speak English fluently and Spanish semi-fluently. I've been studying Spanish for a few years but I don't consider myself to be able to talk confidently with native speakers.

Here is a really helpful article that compares the difference between Ukrainian and Russian as the difference between Dutch and German. I think it'd help people realise that Ukrainian and Russian are similar but not the same at all.

Here's where living in America all my life does not benefit me.

I know only English fluently, I am in my second year of Spanish in school and I would like to learn Modern Greek, Russian, German, and to become fluent in Spanish.

But I don't see this happening, to be honest, but I can try.

I can speak English and Portuguese fluently. I am started Spanish a week ago, all I know is basic words, alphabet and numbers.

French is freaking annoying to hear. I speak English and English only, the rest of the world speaks my language, i'm not going out of my way to learn theirs. ;D
