Luckiest Moment

Some guy lagged out at Pest Control with Rick Turpentine and there was a huge crowd of people there, ready to click when he died, including me. I grabbed both his Ahrim hood and glory amulet - his two most worthwhile items.

The only lucky moments was when my friend accidentally lost items/dropped items for me to pick up.

I don't really have anything else lucky, aside from those.

Okay you will never be my friend...we call that dishonesty where I come from...not luck. I would have given all of my friends stuff back because friendship, even in a game, means more than gaining money, and honesty breeds stronger friendship.

I've never really gotten lucky in runescape...I just try not to get unlucky.

Well , after reading those, I think I'm the luckiest one here.
Was selling lobbies in f2p, somewhere in june, had like 2mil in bank. Then I see some guy, in basic clothes, saying:"Selling red mask, 2.2mil" I thought it was a scam, but I've put up my 2 mil, he said that it wasn't enough, that I should give him some rune. I gave him my full rune, 800 lobbies and 2 mil.
Made 36 Million under a minute xD

How do you guys get so lucky? Argh...maybe it is because I hardly ever trade is seems like most of these are by trading.

The most lockiest moment I have ever had was when I was at Seers Village and there was a level 100, and he died by Mr.Hyde, (He was not at computer or somthing, he didn't run...) and he dropped 9.7 Million and Full White Mystic, and Rune Boots and Dragon Longsword. I got the Rune Boots and the 9.7 Million. That was the best thing that has ever happened to me in RuneScape.

Hm...mine would probably be in the Edgeville Dungeon when some person died and all their stuff was on the ground. There wasn't anyone around so I got all the loot (36k, 40+ law runes, 300+ air runes, a bunch of other stuff).

i've had 2 lucky moments.

the first, someone was having a drop party announcing it in fally. for once they weren't luring!!! omg! anyway, everyone was beign stupid... "show me what you're dropping" "drop now plox" "omg you fa t lier" stuff like that, so i told them to shut the hell up and be respectful. best move i ever made, lol.

she specifically told me where good items were... got 3000 laws, obby cape, obby shield, 1mgp, and something else that kicked ^^^ that i forgot... total=3mill approx.

second was early in february this year... (this month) i went to warriors guild to try fighting my own rune armor, and i noticed a guy maxing... i cose to watch for a bit. he died.

i got: abbyssal whip, obsidian cape, tokz-ket-xil (obby shield), dharoks helm 0, rune boots, dragon battle axe, ring of wealth and amulet of glory... total = 4mill approx.

lucky for him, i knew that a gain like that without doing anything to deserve it was a huge karma hit, so i gave him back anything i didn't already have. i kept the whip, rune boots, and obsidian cape. i didn't have the helm, but he needed that to keep maxing. so in essence i only got 2.4 mill of my own choice. but then i died and lost the boots and cape. =( there's karma for you

Chaotic, I don't mean to be disrespectful, but your story doesn't seem to be very realistic, that guy couldn't have dropped those items, only if he was skulled

I was alching in the Brimhaven agility arena and some other alcher died

i got 200k+ gp

his 3 kept items were dharoks greataxe, plate and legs... all of those are more valuable than any of the other items.

try pricing them all at a general store... you'll see. the most accurate way to determine the way the game chooses what items are most valuable is to look at their price at the general store when it has 0 in stock.

i do not know the damage level of his other dharok items, and i don't know if that effects their value, but perhaps he lost them as well but they just weren't fullly damaged. that would make them invisible to me. for all i know he could have had 3 d chains as his kept items. its not like i can see into peoples inventories.

ok, i feel really stupid... the day before i got the drop, my friend flamehawk### asked me if he could borrow a whip to help with desert treasure. i said no, he asked again, i told him i didn't have one. then, for reasons unknown, i added "but i promise if for some random miracle i get a whip in the next 3 days, i'll let you borrow it."

next day, get drop. flamehawk logs in and says hello. i say "aw $$$$!!"

i get whip back today
